Thomas G. Way, Liberty County, used as collateral for a debt of $50  to Simon A. Fraser, also of Liberty County, “the following property to wit a certain negro boy named Sharper of black complexion about seven years of age…” Witnessed by W.P. Girardeau, Jesse Brewer, C.S.C.L.C. Recorded on December 11, 1862, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk. [NOTE: Marked as “Satisfied in full 5 April 1863, S.A. Fraser. Entered 5th April 1862, S.A. Fraser.]
