Albert Knight used as collateral on a debt of $1058 to Redding Denmark, both of Liberty County, “one negro woman named Hannah age about twenty five years and her two children [name left blank] 5 years old Richard infant six months old.” Witnessed on September 27, 1862 by Lewis Smith, J.P. Recorded on March 10, 1863, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
