Enslaved Persons Named: Peter, Harriet, Queen, Fanny, Georgia.

John Perry gave to his son Daniel Franklin Perry “in consideration of the love and affection that I have [for him]” on March 10, 1860, “five negro slaves named: Peter a man about fifty years of age worth eight hundred dollars, and Harriet his wife, about forty five years old, worth five hundred dollars, and her children Queen a girl thirteen years old, worth five hundred dollars, Fanny, a girl five years old, worth four hundred dollars, and Georgia, a girl child one year old, worth two hundred dollars. “ Witnessed by N.E. Bradley, Wm. [William] J. Coleman, Benjamin Darsey, J.P. Recorded on March 19, 1860 by Jesse Brewer, Clerk.
