Quarterman Justice of the Peace do hereby certify that we have discharged that duty agreeable to the above statement. We also certify that the several lots as above stated were put by numbers into a hat and that no. 4 was drawn by Thomas. J Bacon.” [Transcriber’s Note: Thomas Bacon’s estate was again appraised and divided in 1847 to allow Henry H. Bacon to draw off his share.]
