John Peacock, Sr. of Liberty County. Last Will and Testament dated January 24, 1808, probated June 6, 1823. Gives to his wife Ann four slaves and his personal property; to daughter, Mary Peacock, certain slaves; to daughter, Ann E., wife of Morgan Mara, $5.00; to daughter Susan B. Peacock, son John W. Peacock, daughter Sophia W. Peacock, daughter Mary Eliza Peacock, a slave each. Remainder of estate to said children equally except Ann E. Mara not to receive anything other than the $5. Executors: Friends, William Peacock, John Peacock Jr., Thomas A. Peacock, and wife Ann Peacock. Witnesses: James Lambright, Samuel Dowse and John Osgood, J.P.
