John E. Fraser of Liberty County. Last Will and Testament dated June 7, 1819, probated July 20, 1819. Devises his estate to his son, John Sullivan Fraser and daughter of testator, Sarah Elizabeth Fraser, except $300.00 to be paid annually to his mother, Sarah Smylie, and $100.00 and a horse to James Smylie Jr., and $500.00 plus an education (until he is 21) out of the estate, to said James Smylie Jr. and $200.00 to Margaret Frances Sullivan, $50.00 to Daniel Francis Sullivan together with horse and shotgun; and to friend Samuel Harville, $75.00 and two books; and $500.00 to the “Female Asylum” at Sunbury, and $500.00 to the free schools of Liberty County, and his horse and riding chair to Mrs. Elizabeth Stone (who resides in testator’s home.) Executors: Brother, Simon A. Fraser, and friends Robert McIntosh and James Smylie Jr. Witnesses: John E. McCall, Simon A. Fraser and Henry Driggers. [NOTE: Left his “large family Bible” to friend Samuel Harville.]
