On March 13, 1824, John Way, Liberty County, sold to Nathaniel Varnedoe, Liberty County, “five negro slaves, viz. Diana, Adam, Nanny, Jenny and Peter.” Witnessed by William Jones, Moses Jones. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 8, 1824.
