On March 4, 1843, Joseph S. Baker and Sarah R. Baker, of Green County, Georgia, sold to William N. Way, of Liberty County, for $1700 “the following property viz Jim Charles Minda and Nancy…” Witnessed by L. Wilson, S. Spencer. William Spencer signed as attorney for Joseph and Sarah Baker. Probated by Samuel Spencer on March 29, 1843, before E.H. Bacon, Notary Public. Recorded on April 1, 1843, by E. Way, Clerk.
