Enslaved Persons Named: Phillis [Phyllis], Affy [Affee], Lancaster

On January 21, 1856, William L. Walthour witnessed that he had “no claims on the negroes viz. Phillis her daughter Affy and boy Lancaster they only be loaned to me, they are the property of George W. Walthour.” Witnessed by Aug. S. Quarterman, Alex. S. Quarterman, and Andrew Walthour. Probated by Aug. S. Quarterman before S.A. Fraser, C.S.C.L.C., on April 14, 1856, and recorded by S.A. Fraser on April 15, 1856.
