Enslaved People Named: Jacob, Jack, Toney, Boston, Mol, Nancy, Caesar, Billy, Tenah, Clarinda, Jacob

Audley Sandiford, Liberty County planter, sold to Mary Esther Law, Liberty County, 11 slaves, for “the sum of five hundred pounds specie.” on June 11, 1795. “…the following negroes by names Jacob, Jack, Toney, Boston, Mol, Nancy, Caesar, Billy, Tenah, Clarinda, Jacob…” Sworn on 1797-07-09 before Ad. [Adam] Alexander, J.P. that Joseph Law Sen. and Mary E. Law had “received this 24 April 1797 of Audley Sandiford the full contents of the above.” Witnessed by James Sandiford and Nathaniel Law.  Recorded on 20 September 1797 by Josiah Steuatt.
