On February 3, 1845, Paul Marlow, Effingham County, sold to John Harn Sr, Bryan County, for $500 “a certain negro slave by the name of Linda about seventeen years of age.” Witnessed by Lewis ? Grovenstine ?, Beal Edwards, William Blitch. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on January 19, 1846.
