On January 29, 1806, Richard M. Maxwell, Bryan County, used as collateral on promissory notes for $1074.15 to John Bolton and the heirs of Robert Bolton “the following negros with their increase viz Toney Dick & Sharlott.” Witnessed by Charles Dicks. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on February 18, 1806.
