20 Negroes belonging to estate of William Harden Jun’r. The conditions, half cash, the remainder on a credit to the 1st of January next giving bonds bearing interest from the day of Sale with approved security the property not to be altered until the terms are comply’d with.

Added to this record was a document dated May 30, 1799 stating that Edward Harden, administrator of the estate of William Harden, Jr, both of Bryan County, Georgia, sold for $4053 to John Pray, same place, “sixteen negro slaves, to wit, Joe, Simon, James, Nancy, Will, Peter, Nelly, July, Little Petter [alt: Peter], Romia, Boatwill, Jone, Rachel, June, Doll and Beck.” Witnessed by Stephen J [or T] Maxwell, and Jesse McCall, J.P.

The next document was from John Pray turning over all his rights to the above individuals to Edward Harden in return for $4069.
