In the name of the Most High Amen.
I Samuel Harville of the State of Georgia in Liberty County do Ordain this my last Will and Testament.
First, I desire my Debts be punctually paid.
Secondly, I leave under the care of my three sons Warren Harville, John Elliot Harville, and Edward McVean Harville my Trustees, or either of them, the following property, both real and personal, for the use and by support of my beloved Wife Rebecca Harville during her natural life, all the lands I own in Liberty County, house outhouses plantation tools and implements of husbandry, three s
laves viz. Sally, Cloe, & Jackson, one brown horse my cattle, hogs and sheep, household and kitchen furniture, taking special care not to waste, and at the death of my beloved wife R. Harville as aforesaid, the above property and its increase if any, to be equally divided, between my three sons as aforesaid, Warren, Elliot, and McVean.
I give to my Daughter Rebecca Lawther a female slave named Jenny.
I give to my Daughter Celia Zoucks a female slave named Ler??
I give to my daughter Elizabeth Cash a Slave Boy named Stepna [alt: Stepney]
I give to S/// Mitchell Harville my daughter, Washington a boy Slave.
I give to my youngest Daughter Sarah Smylie Harville a Negroe Girl by the name of Georgian [alt: Georgia Ann or Georgiann]
I give to Richard F. Baker one cow & calf
I give to Warren Harville, my oldest son, one Negroe boy by the name of Abram, my ?gun? Also.
I give to my Son John Elliot Harville one Negroe boy named Cyrus.
I give to my youngest son Edward McVean Harville, my Negroe boy Lonnon [alt: London].
I desire my land in Houston County be sold, and whatever it may bring be equally divided between Beviun Harville & Samuel Ri?? Harville my grandsons.
If I should draw a prize in the present contemplated Land Lottery, I desire it should be divided between Warren Harville John Elliot Harville Edward McVean Harville Stephen Fuller Baker and Mary Harville Baker and Lastly, I appoint Warren Harville John Elliott Harville and Edward McVean Harville my Executors and I most affectionately request, that these my desires be lovingly carried into effect , may the most high deign to bliss you through time console you in death, and be your lasting repose beyond the grave.
In testimony I have set my hand & seal this 12th day of April 1832.
