An agreement between Nicolas Brown of Walthourville Liberty Co. Georgia of the one part and Sam Bacon of McIntosh Co. and said State on the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Nicholas Brown of the first part hereby agrees to allow the said Sam Bacon of the second part the privilege of planting two thirds of the open land belonging to him in McIntosh County for one year ending January 1st 1868 also the use of a part of the dwelling house situated on said Lands, with a sufficiency of pine wood off of said Lands for House & Cooking purposes.

For and in consideration that the said Sam Bacon will give him the said Nicholas Brown by the first day of December next six hundred pounds weight of good cotton in the seed or the value of it in United States currency at ten cents per pound and the said Sam Bacon further agreed to put up two third of the fence now wanting on said Lands or to pay for so doing the value thereof.

In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto affixed their names this 28th day of January 1867.
