Enslaved People Named: Jack
On April 2, 1821, George Kershaw used as collateral on promissory note totalling $185 to Young S. Pickard “a certain male slave named Jack, about forty five years of age.” Witnessed by N.H. Butler. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 10, 1821.
