Enslaved People Named: Jenny, Will
On June 9, 1817, John Way Jr, planter of Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $94 to Uriah Wilcox “the two following negro slaves, with the increase of the females, one a negro wench named Jenny, and her son named Will.” Witnessed by John Bacon. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 12, 1817.
