Enslaved People Named: Manuel
On April 8, 1812, Zachariah Gaulden, intending to leave the state, authorized his friends Uriah Wilcox, John Way and William Fleming as his lawful agents to sell and dispose of any of his property in the state of Georgia, “particularly my negroe man Manuel.” Witnessed by John Cocke. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 14, 1812.
