Enslaved Persons Named: Major
On June 29, 1827, Oliver Stevens, Liberty County, sold to Jonathan Bacon, Liberty County, for $350 “a negro man named Major, about twenty one or two years of age.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 4, 1830.
