Enslaved Persons Named: Dick, Pompey, Ben
On February 26, 1828, Alexander M. McIver, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $700 to Maxwell & King, of the City of Savannah, “the following named negroes, to wit, Dick, Pompey & Ben.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 14, 1828.
