Enslaved Persons Named: Cyrus
On April 22, 1825, John and Sarah Coleman, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $75 to B.S. Lamb, Bryan County, “a negro boy named Cyrus, about eleven years of age.” Witnessed by Gabriel Ratcliff, John B. Maxwell. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 26, 1825.
