Comments: This inventory found in loose documents, not in probate book. Name was spelled Dickinson, Dickeson, Dickison, and Dickenson in various documents; first name as Steven and Stephen. It appeared that Mrs. Jane Mahan was the original administratrix when the estate was inventoried, then John Kell took over in 1819 (as recorded in Book H, pages 263-264) and published a notice in the Darien Gazette saying the estate was to be sold for the benefit of the heirs. The original inventory was ordered on May 13, 1783, to be performed by John Lawson, Adam Alexander and Stafford Sommersall (as spelled), with administratrix Mrs. Jane Mahan.
