In the Name of God Amen, I John Bradwell of
St Johns Parish in State of Georgia being of sound memo
ry and understanding do make and publish this my last
Will and Testament in manner following that is to
say, my Soul I submissively resign to Almighty God
hoping for a Glorious Immortality in and through the
merits of my Blessed Savour Jesus Christ as to my
Body if in Liberty County my Will is that it be buried
in a decent manner at the Midway Meeting house
and that my Mother Hannah Bradwell be removd there
also, and my Worldly Estate I dispose of as follows Viz —
1st Item I give and bequeath to my Brother Thomas
Bradwell the Negroes by name Minder [alt: Minda], Tom & Bille —
2 Item I give and bequeath to my Brother William
Gwin Bradwell the Negroes by nam[e] Moses & Peg
and the remainde[r] of my Estate to be divided equally
between my two Brothers Thomas and William Gwin
Bradwell — It is my Will and pleasure that my
Estate shall remain undivided untill all my Just and
lawful Debts be fully satisfied and paid — and I do hereby
constitute and appoint my [loving] Brothers
Thomas Bradwell and William Gwin Bradwell
Executors of this my last will and Testament In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
Ninth day of May Anno Domine 1787

gister of Probate for the said County William Harrison
who being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he did
see John Bradwell the above named Testator, sign, seal
and declare the above Instruments of writing as and for his
last Will and Testament, and that he the said William
Harrison, and John Jackson, and Margret Dunham, did in
presence, and at the Request of the said John Bradwell and in his
Presence, & in the Presence of each other subscribe their Names
as witnesses thereto —
