On November 23, 1847, Stephen I. Baker, Bryan County gifted to “my two children Elizabeth and Mongin Baker” or any future children “the following negroe Slaves to wit Leah Louisa Dublin July and Ceasar [alt: Caesar].” Thomas G. Baker was to act as trustee. Witnessed by Fuller A. Barnard. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on February 12, 1858.
