Enslaved People Named: March, Affe
On August 1, 1799, in Charleston, South Carolina, Benj. [Benjamin] Ward sold to Elizabeth S. Ward for $600 “two negros named March and Affe [alt: Affey, Affy] together with their future issue and increase.” Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on November 19, 1805.
