Personal Property of Sam Winn (1872)

Georgia, Liberty County } To the Ordinary of said County
The petition of Sam Winn sheweth that he is the head of a family and in behalf of said family applies for an exemption of personalty under the laws of Georgia to be exempt from levy and sale, the property in behalf of said family in the annexed schedule:
1200 pounds of short seed cotton, valued at 5 dolls per hundred pounds
100 bushels of rice, valued at one doll per bushel
100 hundred bushels of corn, valued at 75 cts per bushel household and kitchen furniture and bedding valued at ten dolls
6 head of hogs valued at $3 dolls per head
One cow and calf val. At $25.00 and one one horse wagon val. at $60
Said property above described raised on the plantation of J. LeConte, called Woodland, by petitioner during the present year, and said horse, corn, rice and cotton, now in his, petitioner’s possession, in said place in said county.
