Personal Property of Morris LeConte (1872)

Georgia, Liberty County } To the Ordinary of said County
The petition of Morris LeConte sheweth that he is the head of a family and in behalf of said family applies for an exemption of personalty under the laws of Georgia to be exempt from levy and sale, and files the annexed schedule:
1200 pounds short seed cotton valued at $5 dolls per hundred
70 bushels of corn valued at 75 cts per bushel
50 bushels of rice valued at one dollar per bushel
And two female horses, sorrel colored valued at fifty dolls each
The above corn, rice and cotton being the crop of petitioner raised by him on the place of Frederick R. Lyons in said County for the present year 1872 and now in his possession in said County.
