Personal Property of Julia A. James, 1869

State of Georgia, Liberty County } To the Honorable the Court of Ordinary for Liberty County State aforesaid.

The petition of Julia A. James, colored, wife of W. James, colored, who has left the County, respectfully sheweth that she desires the benefit of an act of the General Assembly of Georgia, entited an Act to provide for setting apart a Homestead of realty and personalty etc . So as to secure to herself the small amount of personal property shown in the annexted schedule, which she desires said court to approve and set aside for her as the law directs, and Petitioner will every pray.

Annexed Schedule of Personal Property claimed by Julia A. James, colored, under Homestead Act, to wit:
One bureau, one looking glass, two lamps, three quilts, one mattress, one trunk, personal apparel, and crockery Ware and Cooking Utensils, all valued at $50.00 fifty dollars.

Approved this 15th day of March 1869.
