On January 22, 1821, Joseph Norman, Liberty County, sold to Jesse Ham, same place, for $750 “a certain female slave, named Peggy, & her three children, named Isaac, Bristor [alt: Brister] & Jack.” Witnessed by John Way Senior, Alex. Martin J.P. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 22, 1821.
