Enslaved People Named: Rachel, Jack

On May 30, 1820, at Sunbury, Thomas S. Mell sold to Benjamin Mell for $450 “a female slave named Rachel & her son named Jack.” Witnessed by William B. Stevens, James F. Baker. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 14, 1820.
