On March 31, 1818, Miss Jane Hutcheson, formerly of Camden County, sold for $300 to Jonathan Gaulden “one negro girl named Phillis [alt: Phyllis].  Witnessed by William Hodges. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 6, 1819.
