Marriage Contract (Bacon/Osgood)

On January 8, 1818, Jonathan Bacon, planter of Liberty County, entered into a marriage contract with Mary Osgood, widow of Liberty County, naming John Winn, William Fleming and the Reverend Thomas S. Winn, all of Liberty County, as her trustees. Put into trust for her was all the property she currently owned and all that she might obtain in the future by whatever means. Witnessed by Matthew Bennet, William Osgood. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 20, 1818.
