Enslaved People Named: Lydia, Clarinda

On January 24, 1818, Richard F. Baker gifted to Louisa Warren “an illegitimate daughter of mine, a negro girl by the name of Lydia, a daughter of Clarinda.” Witnessed by Nathaniel Martin. Alexander Martin signed for Richard F. Baker. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 7, 1818.
