On October 29, 1817, David Lang, of Camden County, sold to Jonathan Gaulden, Liberty County, for $600 “a negro man named Frank, about twenty one years of age.” Witnessed by John Harrel. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 11, 1818.
