Enslaved People Named: Phebe

On August 23, 1817, William Fuller, of Columbia County, Georgia, sold to Jonathan Gaulden, Liberty County, for $500 “a negro wench named Phebe, about twenty years old, and her future issue and increase.” Witnessed by John Harrel. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 11, 1818.
