Enslaved People Named: Sawney, Phoebe

On February 13, 1817, Thomas F. Bacon, Liberty County, sold for $1350 to Audley Maxwell, Liberty County, “the following negroes known by the names of Sawney & Phoebe, toether with their future issue and increase.” Witnessed by  Palmer Goulding. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 24, 1817.
