Enslaved People Named: Hannah

On June 4, 1816, James E. Hines sold to Allen Hines, both of Liberty County, for $300 “a negro girl known by the name of Hannah, about twelve hears old, formerly the property of Jesse Hines, deceased.” Witnessed by C. Hines. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 27, 1816.
