On July 11, 1815, Daniel F. Sullivan sold to John Elliott for $100 “a certain negroe female child named Jean, aged three years, which said negro female child, with its future issue and increase, I warrant and defend to the said John Elliott, his heirs and assigns forever.” Witnessed by A. Forrester. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on July 11, 1815.
