Enslaved People Named: Sucky

On May 13, 1809, John O’Neill of Bulloch County sold to John Bohannon of Liberty County “a certain negro woman named Sucky.” Witnessed by D. Henderson, James A. Tippins. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on November 23, 1810. 

Immediately after this deed was another in which John Bohannan Senior and his wife Lydia, of Liberty County, sold to John Bohannon Jr for $200 a 200-acre tract of land in Liberty County.
