On February 21, 1807, John Winn, attorney for Liberty Holmes, sold to William Way Senior for $450 “a Negroe fellow named Isaac which said fellow belonged to Doctor Liberty Holmes.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on July 4, 1809.
