On February 22, 1806, John P. Williamson, relinquished his right to “the following negroes…to wit, Tom, Sam, Daniel & Cato.” He had obtained a mortgage on them from James White, of Liberty County, dated March 5, 1805. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 30, 1807.
