On November 20, 1806, William Baker, Liberty County, sold for $800 to Benjamin Mell, also of Liberty County, “three Negroes by name Old Rose, Lucy and boy Bob.” Witnessed by James Mell. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on December 3, 1806.
