On December 18, 1802, Moses Murphy [alt: Murfee], planter of South Carolina, sold to Simon Fraser, planter of Liberty County, “the following Negroes viz. Sam and his wife Milly, Peggy, ?Mony? [or Morny], Ansel, Rantor, ?Fopy? [or Fossy], Mulla…” Witnessed by Daniel Marlin [or Martin], William Graham. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on October 1, 1805.
