Enslaved Persons Named: Rinah, Pompy, Jemmy, Charlotte

On March 5, 1792, Mrs. Elizabeth Munro and Alexander McIver used as collateral on a promissory note of 93 pounds sterling to William Baker Senior and Peter Winn “the following negroes Rinah, Boy Pompy [alt: Pompey], Jemmy and Girl Charlotte.” Witnessed by Joseph Watts, John Bettis. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 30, 1792.
