On February 25, 1790, William West, Liberty County, gifted to his daughter Hannah West “a certain Negroe Girl Slave named Mary about eight years old with her increase from this day forward.” Witnessed by John Jones, Leonard Jurdine. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 8, 1792.
