On April 16, 1787, A.D. Cuthbert sold to Persianna Lockerman for 300 pounds sterling “the five following Negroe Slaves viz. Jack, Cate, Joe, Carolina & Cinder [alt: Cinda].” Witnessed by John McIntosh. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on November 15, 1787.
