On August 26, 1830, John Minton and Rosina L. Minton agreed that “the negro slaves mentioned in the within mortgage, together with the issue of the females, from the date of the same, and all their future issue, shall be subject to the said mortgage, if default in the payment thereof shall be made. “The mortgage referred to was one made by James Dunwody, trustee of Rosina L. Minton, to Sarah D. Fabian, recorded in Book I, pages 369 and 370 on October 8, 1829. [NOTE: Although not named in this record, the individuals named in the mortgage dated October 8, 1829 were: Tamar, Smart, Jacob.)
