Enslaved Persons Named: Frank, Lucy, Miley, Hetty

On April 7, 1830, Henry N. Butler, planter, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $314 to Uriah Wilcox, trader, Liberty County, “a certain male slave named Frank & three female slaves named Lucy Miley & Hetty together with the future issue & increase of the females.” Witnessed by G.W. Dunham. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 17, 1830.
