Enslaved Persons Named: Glasgow

On August 4, 1830, Henry R. Russell, Liberty County, sold to John Shaw, Liberty County, for $325 “the following property, one negro man slave, by the name of Glasgow, thirty five years of age.” Witnessed by David A. Miller, Wm. Robarts. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on September 13, 1830.
