On December 26, 1828, James Dunwody, McIntosh County, trustee for Mrs. Rosina L. Minton, used as collateral on a promissory note of $750 to Miss Sarah D. Fabian, Liberty County, “the following negro slaves, Tamar, Smart & Jacob.” Witnessed by E.R. Harford, James L. Smith. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on October 8, 1829.
